This Is Love | Illustrated Faith devotional kit

ACS_0022

This is love. The newest Illustrated Faith devotional kit from DaySpring is all about love- God’s AMAZING love for you and me. If you haven’t picked up one of Illustrated Faith’s devotional kits yet I’d encourage you to snag this one. If you’re on the fence, this is one to hop over the fence for!

In the four sessions of devotional content Shanna beautifully describes God love for each one of us. As we linger on the love the mighty and powerful Creator of the universe has for you and me I think it’s no stretch to say it will spill over into our everyday interactions with those around us. And don’t you think the world could stand a little more love? 🙂

I love the look of this kit and had so much fun finding coordinating supplies to go with it! As usual, I keep them all contained in this handy plastic tray from the dollar store.

DaySpring also sent me a few coordinating items from the You Are Loved collection designed by Stephanie Buice. I just love love love these paper pieces, don’t you?!

Here I’ve pulled my (well-loved) You Are Loved stamp set (left) to go with the 3×4 stamp set included with the kit. (Not sure how to use or even what clear stamps are? Check out this handy post to see what they’re all about!)

And who doesn’t love stickers?! On the left are the card stock stickers from the You Are Loved collection along with a booklet of 24 tip-ins sized to fit perfectly in the margins of your journaling bible! Check out my unboxing video to see these guys in action 🙂

Next up-paint! Again, I was so inspired by the beautiful artwork in the kit, that I see many painterly bible journaling entries! From left to right I’ve got Anita’s Acrylic craft paint (from Hobby Lobby) in colors Hawaii, Light Turquoise and Hunter Green, then Target Handmade Modern paint in satin Avocado and Seaweed, followed by the Illustrated Faith acrylic paint Rose and the Liquitex heavy body acrylic in Light Portrait Pink.

And finally, Faber Castell PITT artist pens. I confess I need to make better use of these (they can be an investment) so I’m planning to use them more this month. Pictured from left to right are Cobalt Green 156, May Green 170, Earth Green 172, Chrome Oxide Green 278, Pink Madder Lake 129 and Light Flesh 132.

We’d love to have you join us as we “work” through this kit together! It’s so much fun to see everyone’s take on each session and hear a bit of their heart. You can find the kit here (and don’t forget to use code IFSHIPSFREE for free domestic shipping).
