Hello, hello! It is *finally* beginning to feel like fall in my neck of the woods (yay!) and we’re well into this year’s Gratitude Documented project (double yay!!) As I mentioned in my last post I’m using the MemoryDex system from Heidi Swapp to quickly and simply journal my gratitude this year. I’ve been sharing a card for each day on my Instagram, along with a few process videos on YouTube. I wanted this space to house each day’s prompt and project with links and resources for each day’s MemoryDex card 🙂
Don’t forget, you can download the FREE Gratitude Documented journaling prompts here, and it’s never to late to jump in!
Okay! Let’s get started with Gratitude Documented, Day 1!

Right off the bat, you might notice that I switched up the scripture reference for day one. I explain why in the process video I shared, and I want to encourage you here that it is totally okay to use a different verse for your journaling. You don’t have to use the prescribed verses in the prompt list from Illustrated Faith- they’re simply jumping off points 🙂
And now, Day 2:

Again, I chose to go off-prompt for day two 🙂 When I was unpacking the Illustrated Faith Gratitude kit elements I noticed how sturdy the packaging was-it seemed like vellum instead of the traditional glassine so I turned it into a pocket to hold my journaling and some bits from the Illustrated Faith Print & Pray Shop. I used the kit’s stamps and heat embossing to decorate the pocket- you can watch the entire process here.
Next up, Day 3!

Day three’s prompt was SO timely! I was especially grateful that I decided to go quick and simple this year. On this day I spent more time in my prayer journal and therefore didn’t document much else on the card 🙂
And onto Day 4:

Ok, so now I’m realizing we’re on to day four and I’ve changed verses for each one, haha! I used a neutral pattern paper from Crate Paper and loaded up my card with new Print & Pray releases from @bravelittletaylor along with some other elements from my stash (sidebar: this is one of my favorite projects for stash-busting!) On the back is a tab used to lift up some interactive/hidden journaling.
And finally (for now) Day 5:

Day five was a fun one and I shared a quick little process video showing how this one came together. As God’s representatives in this (tense & hurting) world, this was a wonderful reminder to love one another ❤
And that’s days one through five! I’m already marveling at God’s timing on each day. Drop a comment below if you have any questions and I’ll see you next week!
❤ Jillian
