Believe In the One Who Can | Bible Journaling Process Video

ACS_0013

Hey, friends! In today’s process video I wanted to challenge myself to use bible journaling products that are available in the DaySpring Warehouse Sale– seriously, up to 70% off- that’s just too good to pass up!

Cue alll the Delight In His Day collection pieces designed by the sweet and colorful Elaine Davis! I had so much fun creating this bright entry in Exodus 3, let me show you what I used!

First up are one of my favorite supplies, the 12×12 fundamental sticker sheet! I love these because you get an alphabet, border stickers, tabs, phrases and shapes- oh my! I’ve actually created an entry using only this supply (check it out here). And I couldn’t resist using these wonky alphabet stickers from Bella Blvd- they’re just so fun (and nice and sticky-these guys aren’t going anywhere!)

Oh, hey more wonky alphas! Then clockwise, from the top are the Illustrated Faith tape runner (a great basic!), my favorite .35 nib journaling pen, the Elements clear stamp set (another fave and a great deal in the sale), Target Handmade Modern Paints in Bright Teal and Coral and the Delight In His Day clear cuts pad.

Armed with all of these beautiful supplies I set off to create my page. I was inspired by the book Free of Me by Sharon Miller. This was perhaps my favorite book that I read in 2017. I mean, I still thumb through it and enjoy reading what I’ve highlighted.

I ended up in chapter three of Free of Me and Exodus (what a co-inkydink!) In her book Sharon talks about the habit of using those around us as mirror, “the tendency to treat people as a reflection of yourself”. And in chapter three she talks about the pitfalls of making God about you. Spoiler: it doesn’t go well for us.

I hope you’ll check out my process video to hear more and see how my entry came together!

❤ Jillian

P.S. DaySpring’s warehouse sale runs through January 31, 2018- don’t miss it!
