Illustrated Faith Fruit of the Spirit Collection | Peace

ACS_0458

Hi, friend! This week I’m continuing my “not calling it a series, journaling the fruits of the Spirit” series. Whew. 🙂

I took my inspiration for today’s page from a recent shopping trip. The acrylic paint, nail polish and book cover that I picked up on that trip looked so dreamy together and I wanted to translate that into a bible journaling entry. And here we are!

Naturally, I’m in Philippians 4:6-7,

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

This anxious heart could testify to dozens of ways I’ve experienced His peace in the last couple of years. But it all boils down to this: the more I learn about God (in His word), the more I trust Him.

I have questions, sure, but they are not deal breakers for me. I learn about His character by reading my bible. I have an incomprehensible peace because the Holy Spirit reminds me of who He says He is.

This was another fun mixed media, art journaling type of page to create. Sure, at one point I thought this looks absolutely horrible, but I kept adding layers until I was happy with it 😀
