Hi, friend! It’s so nice to be back with a new process video. (I’m sure I’ve said that before, but it’s SO true!)
Today I’m sharing an entry in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 using the Stronger Together devotional kit from Illustrated Faith and DaySpring.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:” Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NIV)
As I read this passage and the corresponding devotional card I was reminded of this quote I read in Lysa TerKeurst’s Finding I AM bible study,
“The enemy knows if he can isolate us, he can intimidate us. Confuse us. Deceive us.”
In community we can spot the lies that our friends often can’t see. In community we can fight together in prayer. In community we can share each other’s struggles and encourage one another.
I’m not sure about you, but that sounds way better to me than trying to just get by on my own. We were made for this. We were made for community.
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NIV)
Thanks so much for joining me today! See you soon!
