100 Days of Bible Promises Round-Up | Days 8-14

Hey, friend and Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing days 8 through 14 of my 100 Days of Bible Promises journaling entries. Care to see what I’ve been creating?

Day 8: praise at all times. This day’s devotional was appropriately timed as last week was one of my worst in a while- a three-day migraine, head colds, the passing of an old friend and tornadoes. Yikes! But I was thankful for the reminder that God is still good even in the not so good times and He will always be worth praising- at all times.

For this entry I looked to some older kit components (I finally used that written on my heart die cut) and washi. I printed Shanna Noel’s 100 Days Toolbox printables from the Print & Pray Shop, grabbed some Homespun alpha stickers and my Faber Castell PITT pens in Dark Naples Ochre and Pink Madder Lake.

Day 9: New beginnings! I hadn’t yet put away my All Things New devotional kit so I was sure to use the stamp set to remind myself that He makes all things new! I also used some of Shanna’s Because He Lives printables because I couldn’t not include those butterflies!

Day 10: New mercies every day! I have this oh so fun habit of reliving foot in mouth moments from the day before quite frequently. And since I had just been to a memorial service the day before I had plenty of conversations to recall. Again, another perfectly timed 100 Days devotional. The phrase “yesterday and its regrets are over” practically jumped off the page at me.

Oh goodness, what didn’t I use on this page?! A lot of the collage papers (included with the purchase of the 100 Days book), black homespun alphas, Print & Pray Shop alpha printed on clear sticker paper, wordfetti and lots of enamel hearts to remind me that beating myself up over something I did (or didn’t) say is not the best use of my time 🙂

Day 11: Freedom in confession. What a beautifully written devotional for today!

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9

I kept this day simple because- rough week! I used the Homespun alpha stamps, the new tiny colorful alpha sticker book, wordfetti and looooots of enamel hearts!

Day 12: wisdom for those who ask. Again, another simple entry using Elaine Davis’ Print & Pray Shop set Adjust Your View along with some fun puffy heart stickers from Pinkfresh Studio!

Day 13: Courage over fear!

The first day I added paint! I looked to the colors included in the book for my jumping off point and tried to stick just to those three. I created a similar entry in 2 Timothy 1:7 last month and decided to pull out some of the same elements I used there to create a “sister” entry in my book. Nerd alert!

I can’t get over the cuteness of these girls that Brianna Showalter illustrated for her Print & Pray Shop set Made Brave! I added some of those elements, wordfetti, black paint splatters, grid patterned washi and a Neocolor II crayon in Salmon.

Day 14: Spirit lead me. A great way to kick off this week- Spirit lead me in Your way!

More paint today, including those Handmade Modern paints we all love (in Seaweed and Bright Teal) along with a Dina Wakley acrylic paint in Marine. I used some stickers from the Fruit of the Spirit sticker sheet, bits of Brave Little Taylor’s adorable fruit illustrations and a new Brushed Words sticker from this beautiful sticker book.

I topped all of that off with lots of enamel hearts and more Salmon Neocolor II.

And that’s it for the edition! Have you been enjoying the 100 Days of Bible Promises devotional journal? I love scrolling through everyone’s posts and hearing their heart behind each entry- it’s been so fun to work through it together as a community!

I hope you have a great week and I’ll see you Wednesday with a new post and process video-yay!

❤ Jillian
